Event Organizers Love Shade Haven

Shade Havens provide comfort at Maple Grove Days for third consecutive year

Demand for Shade Haven mobile shade system rentals continues to grow as more event organizers discover the versatility, mobility and functionality of the Shade Haven for outdoor gatherings. With events already booking for 2027, returning customers such as the Maple Grove Community Organization (MGCO) in Maple Grove, Minnesota, are speaking out about the value Shade Haven provides for their events.

MGCO recently wrapped up Maple Grove Days, its biggest event of the year — a five-day celebration that draws more than 30,000 people. For the third consecutive year, the organization turned to shade Haven to provide comfortable, shaded spaces throughout the event grounds.

“We started out two years ago with two Shade Havens near the petting zoo and two near the Great Lawn green space,” notes event coordinator Ann-Marie Lemanski. “This year we had five Shade Havens. They are fabulous! I’ve already reserved five for next year.”

Lemanski helps to facilitate a packed schedule of activities, including concerts, a petting zoo, fireworks, numerous vendors and plenty of food.

When she first saw the Shade Haven at a Minnesota Festivals & Events Association event, she knew it was a perfect fit for Maple Grove Days.

“We can’t have anything that causes damage to the grounds, so the fact that the Shade Havens can be used without any stakes and can be easily moved to wherever we need them is the perfect solution for us!”
