Shade Haven LLC is a designer and manufacturer of mobile shade systems for agricultural and commercial applications. The company is known for producing innovative, high-quality mobile shade equipment and providing stellar customer service.
Shade for Livestock
The Shade Haven mobile shade system was first engineered as a solution to prevent heat stress in grazing livestock. Tired of watching his cattle suffer in the hot summer sun, company founder Vince Hundt was determined to find a solution that was easy to move and large enough to protect his whole herd. Finding nothing on the market, he partnered with two engineering graduates to build the ultimate mobile shade system for grazing livestock.
The first portable livestock shade systems were sold in 2013. Today, Shade Haven mobile shade structures can be found throughout the U.S. and internationally on grazing dairy and beef farms and other diversified livestock farms. The Shade Haven is a lasting solution to heat stress in livestock and allows farmers and ranchers, for the first time, to put shade where it is needed – even in paddocks with no natural shade.
Shade for Events
With increasing temperature extremes, the company recognized a need for a quick, portable shade solution to protect human health.
The Shade Haven team of engineers went to work modifying the existing shade structure design, adding hydraulic-controlled shade positioning, retractable bench seating, and solar-powered lighting and misting options. These customizable shade structures provide much-needed relief at community festivals, concerts, sporting events, street markets, work sites and film production sets.
The health impacts of heat stress are severe. The team at Shade Haven is proud to market a product that not only increases comfort and enjoyment, but also saves lives.
